....Another captive setting -- an aquarium this time -- I was surrounded by children as fascinated as I was by this exotic relative of seahorses. Only two species of sea dragon exist -- this is by far the most elegant and elaborate -- and both live in Australia. Nature's curious adaptations, this one for camouflage, never cease to amaze me.
